Hi, I’m Alexander Wells and I am part of the Morningstar Adviser Workstation team here in London.  My primary role here on the team is to administer our online training classes for the Adviser Workstation software and to help our clients use our software in the most effective way possible.

We started this blog back in 2010 as an informal way of interacting with advisers and to allow our clients to share ideas with each other. We’re hoping for lots of discussion about Adviser Workstation and the best ways an adviser might use it, but we’re also hoping to provide insight and information that advisers might find helpful as the advice business changes over the years.

With this site, information and ideas can be shared that will improve the advice process that hundreds of clients end up experiencing.  Our hope is that this blog can help in this process and provide an online community where ideas can be shared and knowledge can be gained.

We feel it very important to stress that this site is for the benefit of the readers and thoughts expressed here are those of the person posting. The exchange of good ideas is the #1 goal of this site, not self promotion.
