Every month Morningstar issues the Global Investment Summary, a report which details the current economic global outlook.
While there is little doubt that global growth in the latter half of 2014 should show a decent improvement on a very variable first half, more recent data suggests that the US and China will be the key locomotives of world growth in the second. It had earlier been hoped that a more synchronised recovery would enable the world economy to achieve above trend growth in the later part of the year but this now appears unlikely. Read full report
